There are other removal shells available without the metal bars. In our tests these types of shells have a tendancy to twist if overloaded and could crack under stress.
The manufacturer of this type of un-strenghtened shell has now ceased trading. They will almost certainly be old stocks and hence they are no covered by any warranty.
